Features
- Ideally suited to measuring currents on large cables.
- Individually Calibrated (Transfer Impedance calibration included)
- High Current Capability
- Split Type Clamp-on Design
For ease and convenience of performing conducted measurements, all of our Current Probes utilize the split type clamp-on design. The BCP-518 is ideally suited to measuring currents for the immunity requirements of DO-160 and IEC-1000-4-6 on large cables. It has a usable frequency range of 10 KHz to 500 MHz. Its transfer impedance is typically 13.5 dBW (± 2 dB) from 70 MHz to 400 MHz. It has an aperture of 70 mm and can clamp around very large cable bundles. It can operate without saturation from 200 amperes of DC to 400 Hz, 50 amperes of pulse current and 25 amperes of CW.
